It is the goal of the Triton Regional School District through the school volunteer program to:
- Promote a home-community-school partnership for quality education
- Help the teachers and staff in any manner that enables them to do their jobs more effectively
- Assist learning processes by providing individual learning opportunities through the use of volunteers
- Stimulate interest, concern, and support of our educational system through constructive citizen participation
To help promote positive school and community relationships TRSD Volunteers:
- Recognize that well-educated children are our greatest natural resource
- Have good health and moral character
- Are willing to accept supervision as well as responsibility
- Understand and appreciate the work of the school staff
- Register and complete CORI Form. You may obtain this form by clicking here, from your school volunteer coordinator or by contacting the school office. CORI forms must be submitted by October 17, 2008.
- Sign in and out in the school office or designated area when you volunteer.
- Follow School committee policy on blood borne pathogens.
The forms listed below must be completed for all volunteers who enter our schools. CORI forms must be obtained from the school as listed above. Please be aware that by law, we are not able to allow parents or any volunteers into the building to work with students unless a CORI has been completed.
These two forms must be completed regardless of the school which you would like to volunteer in.
