THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Snacks must be packed separately from lunch.
- Can the snack be packed in a plastic container or bag? Only raw or whole fruits and vegetables may come in a bag or plastic container.
- Your child may bring a large bag of snacks (instead of several individual-sized bags), which will be stored in the covered classroom snack bin.
- Many classes have ‘working snack,’ that is, the children may read or do some other quiet activity while they are eating. You may want to keep this in mind as you choose a snack.
