We are writing to inform you of another Community Gathering that Ms. Lacey and I will be having with all students in grades 1-3 and 4-6. As you recall, a Community Gathering is a way in which we come together as a school or grade level to address certain issues or discuss a particular topic. We feel that by having the students come together again following the long school break, the student’s educational program will continue be more supported and nurtured. Our theme will again focus on the following with a primary emphasis on bullying and harassment:
- Attitude
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Harassment/Bullying
- Appropriate School Conduct
When: Thursday, February 25, 2010
- Grades 1-2, Time: 8:40 a.m.
- Grades 4-6, Time: 9:20 a.m.
Grade three will be on a field trip that day; therefore we will have their Community Gathering on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 8:40 a.m.
