Rowley Youth Baseball & Softball
The Rowley Youth Baseball & Softball organization fields teams from Rowley for both Baseball and Softball. They play against the surrounding towns of Georgetown, West Newbury, Newbury, Salisbury, Topsfield, Middleton, and Seabrook, NH. The baseball/softball season is in the spring. Games in Rowley are held at Eiras Park, Haley Field and Pine Grove School.
Triton Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading
Triton Pop Warner consists of boys and girls from Byfield, Newbury, Rowley, Salisbury, Georgetown, Newburyport, Amesbury, West Newbury, Groveland, and other neighboring towns in Essex County. Practices are located at the Central Street Fields in Byfield and Games are played at Triton Regional High School on Elm Street in Byfield.
Triton Youth Basketball is for girls and boys in grades 3-8 living in Newbury, Rowley, or Salisbury or, attending school in the Triton School District. Practices will start in mid-November and games will begin in early December. The season runs through early March. The games and practices are held in gyms of the following schools: Newbury Elementary, Pine Grove, Salisbury Elementary, and Triton High School. Practices and games are generally held in the evenings, starting at 5:15PM and on Saturdays. There are no sessions when the schools are closed for holidays and vacations. The player’s exact schedule will depend on the age group and type of team. Everyone makes a team. Warm-up/evaluation sessions will be held for all players in mid-October. Travel teams do have tryouts that will be conducted in late October.
Triton Youth Hockey serves Newbury, Byfield, Rowley and Salisbury Massachusetts plus other surrounding towns. Mite Instructionals play in the Graf Instructional League. Mites play in the Valley League. Squirts and above play in the Valley league and the No. Suburban League. Practice is held at the Graf Rink in Newburyport and the rink at Governor's Academy in Byfield.
TYSA has two 8-week seasons per year. The fall season runs between September and November and the spring season runs between April and June. Registered players will be contacted by their coach a few weeks before the season begins for game and practice schedules.
